PERRYVILLE -- Hilda C. Pingel, 70, of Perryville died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 14, 1929, in St. Louis County, daughter of Charles and Clara Pingel Geringer. She and Joseph R. Pingel Sr. were married Sept. 3, 1955, at Arnold. He died Sept. 4, 1998.
Pingel was a member of St. Maurus Parish at Biehle and its St. Anns Sodality.
Survivors include four sons, William Pingel of Minonk, Ill., Joseph Pingel Jr. of Brewer, Steven Pingel of Perryville, Edward Pingel of Sulphur Springs, Texas; two daughters, Deborah Dunham of St. Louis, Mary Ann Adams of St. Marys; two sisters, Rosina Faber and Julia Chrismer of St. Louis; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, two brothers, and four sisters.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, and Friday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. The wake will be at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Maurus Church. The Rev. Alphonse Hoernig will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
