ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Hilda Mirly, 91, of Altenburg died Saturday, April 23, 2005, at her home. She was born April 19, 1914, in Frohna, Mo., daughter of Gottfried and Elenora Weber Schuessler. She and Theobald Leimbach were married April 17, 1937. He died April 6, 1971. She and Walter Mirly were married Nov. 26, 1977. He died Dec. 12, 1988...

ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Hilda Mirly, 91, of Altenburg died Saturday, April 23, 2005, at her home.

She was born April 19, 1914, in Frohna, Mo., daughter of Gottfried and Elenora Weber Schuessler. She and Theobald Leimbach were married April 17, 1937. He died April 6, 1971. She and Walter Mirly were married Nov. 26, 1977. He died Dec. 12, 1988.

Mirly was a restaurant worker. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, choir, Ladies Aid and LWML, the Altenburg Homemakers Club, Golden Agers and The Birthday Club. She was also a religion teacher in Altenburg and a 4-H leader.

Survivors include a daughter, Rose Oberndorfer of Altenburg; three stepdaughters, Betty Jagels of St. Louis, Caroline Hutter and Laverne Ross, both of Jackson; two stepsons, Jack Mirly of Jackson, Robert Mirly of Collinsville, Ill.; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 15 stepgrandchildren; and many great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg, with the Rev. Charles Weber officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
