Funeral service for Hilda E. Jenkins, 3029 Mimosa, will be held at 2 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. James Caughlan will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.

Jenkins, 87, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Nov. 14, 1909, in Jackson, daughter of Albert and Rosa Koehler Sawyer. She and W. Wilson Jenkins were married Aug. 6, 1949. He died Dec. 14, 1981.

Jenkins was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ and Ladies Friendship Circle.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
