MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Hetty Louise Davies, 89, of Marble Hill died Sunday, April 1, 2001, at Eldercare of Marble Hill. She was born March 3, 1912, in Bollinger County, Mo., daughter of Hilary A. and Samantha Cole Hilderbrand. She first married Rudolph Leadbetter in 1934, at Marble Hill. He died in 1935. She and Edgar Hatton were married in 1938 in Springfield, Mo. He died in 1943. She and Kenneth Davies were married in 1944...

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Hetty Louise Davies, 89, of Marble Hill died Sunday, April 1, 2001, at Eldercare of Marble Hill.

She was born March 3, 1912, in Bollinger County, Mo., daughter of Hilary A. and Samantha Cole Hilderbrand. She first married Rudolph Leadbetter in 1934, at Marble Hill. He died in 1935. She and Edgar Hatton were married in 1938 in Springfield, Mo. He died in 1943. She and Kenneth Davies were married in 1944.

Davies was a nurse 30 years at Community Hospital in Pana, Ill. She had lived at Marble Hill since 1984.

Survivors include a niece, Shirley Morris of Jackson, Mo., and a nephew, Mark Hilderbrand of Fenton, Mo.

She was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.

Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gerald Huff officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
