HESTER VIOLA DEIMUND

JACKSON -- Hester Viola Deimund, 93, of Jackson, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 1991, at Cape LaCroix in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 13, 1898, at Allenville, daughter of Ed and Mollie Seabaugh Seabaugh. She married Christian Deimund Dec. 12, 1915. He died Sept. 24, 1973.

Deimund was a member of Little Whitewater Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, Henry Deimund of Jackson; six daughters, Opal Hahs of Friedheim, Mary Schmandt and Goldie Meurer of St. Louis, Bertha Grindstaff of Marthasville, Leola Fadler of Jackson, Zeta Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; 25 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, brother and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel. The Rev. William Bernauer will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
