SIKESTON, Mo. -- Hershel V. Page, 64, of Des Peres, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at his home.
He was born March 24, 1936, at Crowder, Mo., son of the Rev. J. Marshall and Geneva Taylor Page. He and Betty Plouvier were married Dec. 23, 1962, at St. Charles, Mo.
Page graduated in 1956 from Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in education. He later received a master's degree in secondary education from the University of Missouri at St. Louis. He taught at Kelly High School in Benton, Mo., for one year and then for 29 years at Kirkwood High School in Kirkwood, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; his mother of Sikeston, Mo.; a son, Anthony Page of Des Peres; a brother, Michael Page of Desoto; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gerald Huff and Geneva Keith officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley, Mo.
