HERSHEL MAJORS

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Hershel "Bo" Majors, 71, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Sunday, July 22, 2001, in Phoenix.

He was born March 10, 1930, in Memphis, Tenn., son of Hershel Majors and Lera Parker Majors Tidwell. He and Betty Sanders were married Jan. 1, 1949.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, David Majors of Rome, Mich., James Majors of Berkley, Mich.; two daughters, Glenda Wouagmon of Phoenix, Susan Sharpe of Prescott, Mich.; two brothers, Herb Majors of East Prairie, Jim Tidwell of Taipei, Taiwan; three sisters, June Majors and Shirley Brack of East Prairie, Lucy Tidwell of Tampa, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Matt Butrum officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
