ORAN, Mo. -- Hershal Ray Wagoner, 83, of Oran died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at the family home in Oran.
He was born in Blodgett, Mo., on Aug. 3, 1920, to the late Allen and Agnes Patton Wagoner.
Hershal was a farmer and drove a bus for the Oran School District. He was retired from the Scott County Highway Department.
He married Jerry Evans on Nov. 9, 1940, and she survives.
Other survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Lindon Duncan of Sikeston, Mo., and Peggy and Steve Gates of Blodgett; a grandson, Jeff Limbaugh of Morley, Mo.; a granddaughter, Toni Bruenderman and husband Lance of Morley; a grandson, Aaron Gilliland and wife Jaime of Benton, Mo.; a grandson, Chris Gates of Blodgett; five great-grandchildren, Holly Limbaugh of Oran, Dustin Bruenderman, Austin Edwards and Blake Bruenderman, all of Morley, and Peyton Gilliland of Benton; and a good friend, Heather Malone of Morley.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Graveside services will be at 12:15 p.m. Thursday at Friend Cemetery in Oran, with the Rev. Ed Carter officiating.
