CAIRO, Ill. -- Mrs. Hermene King, 97, of Cairo, died Sunday, May 5, 1991, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
She was born Sept. 17, 1893, at Charleston, Mo., daughter of Franklin G. and Clara Jecko Schuh. She married William Clarke King, who died in 1953.
King was a member of Cairo Baptist Church, and Order of Eastern Star in Charleston.
Survivors include two nieces, Constance Baur and Hermene Clarke of Cairo, and a great-nephew, Dr. Paul W. Clarke of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Funeral service is at 10 a.m. today at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home until time of service.
