PERRYVILLE -- Herman William Lappe, 80, Perryville Route 2, died Monday, May 23, 1994, at his home. He was born Aug. 14, 1913, at Biehle, son of Frank W. and Louisa M. Schwein Lappe. He and Hilda C. Wibbenmeyer were married April 21, 1942. She died Nov. 13, 1974...

PERRYVILLE -- Herman William Lappe, 80, Perryville Route 2, died Monday, May 23, 1994, at his home.

He was born Aug. 14, 1913, at Biehle, son of Frank W. and Louisa M. Schwein Lappe. He and Hilda C. Wibbenmeyer were married April 21, 1942. She died Nov. 13, 1974.

Lappe was a farmer.

Survivors include four sons, Ray, Clyde, Don and Bill Lappe of Perryville; three daughters, Pat Renaud and Betty Berkbigler of Perryville, Mary Staggs of Wentzville; a sister, Leanita Unterreiner of Perryville; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren, and a great-stepgrandchild.

He was preceded in death by four sisters and a stepgrandchild.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. today. The wake will be at 7:30.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle. The Revs. Joseph Eihlers and Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
