KELSO -- Herman Emil Stubenrauch, 76, of Kelso died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at his home. He was born June 25, 1922, at Oran, son of Emil and Bertha Metz Stubenrauch. He and Tommie Harmon were married Sept. 20, 1947, at Chaffee. Stubenrauch had been parts manager at Scism Motors. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II...

KELSO -- Herman Emil Stubenrauch, 76, of Kelso died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at his home.

He was born June 25, 1922, at Oran, son of Emil and Bertha Metz Stubenrauch. He and Tommie Harmon were married Sept. 20, 1947, at Chaffee.

Stubenrauch had been parts manager at Scism Motors. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Glenn Stubenrauch of Kelso; a daughter, Carol Ann Gates of Brockwell, Ark.; a sister, Stella Graviett of Oran; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 5 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited at 7, followed by Knights of Columbus prayers at 7:15.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
