SIKESTON -- Herman Leo Tucker, 56, of Sikeston died Friday, Aug. 25, 1995, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Dec. 31, 1938, at Painton, the son of John Lee and Louella Harris Tucker. On Dec. 27, 1986, he married Dorothy Jean Harris, who survives.
Tucker was employed by the Scott County Central Schools as a maintenance engineer. He was a member of the West End Baptist Church, Peaceful Lodge 181, Prince Hall Masons, Holy Royal Arch Masons, Malachi Chapter 14 and the United Grand Commandery-Knight Templar.
Other survivors include his mother; two sisters, Mae Alice Tucker of Chicago and Phyllis Tucker Jackson of Indianapolis; five brothers, Daniel Tucker of Chicago, John W. Tucker of Orchard Lake, Mich., George Tucker of Arlington, Texas, Samuel Tucker of St. Louis and Jeremiah Tucker of Austin, Texas; and two stepdaughters, Pauline McCray and Linda Faye Harris, both of Sikeston.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the West End Baptist Church in Sikeston, where Masonic rites will be conducted at 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Scott County Central Auditorium. Ronald Williams will officiate, and burial will be at the Smith West End Cemetery in Sikeston.
