SIKESTON, Mo. -- Hermaine Jones, 84, of Sikeston died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born Nov. 15, 1916, in Bayonne, N.J. Jones lived in Sikeston more than 19 years. SIKESTON, Mo. -- Hermaine Jones, 84, of Sikeston died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 15, 1916, in Bayonne, N.J.

Jones lived in Sikeston more than 19 years. She was a member of Greer Chapel Baptist Church and its Mother Board and was chaplain of the Missionary Society many years.

There are no known survivors.

Friends may call at Greer Chapel Church after 11 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at noon Saturday at the church. Roy Bonner will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
