HERBERT L. RUESSLER

PERRYVILLE -- Herbert L. Ruessler, 78, of Perryville, died Saturday, April 23, 1994, at the Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

He was born Jan. 30, 1916, at Cape Girardeau, son of Ferdinand and Annabelle Barks Ruessler.

He married Olga Koenig, Sept. 3, 1939.

Ruessler retired from the Mississippi Lime Company.

He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Mississippi Lime Union.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, LeRoy Ruessler, Donald Ruessler and Jerry Ruessler, all of Perryville; two daughters, Barbara Moore of Perryville, Carol Hager of Romeoville, Ill.; a brother, Rudy Wilfong of Patton; five sisters, Stella Grindstaff of Biehle, Amelia Brown of Arnold, Viola Winkler, Edna Ponder and Lanita Clifton, all of Perryville; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Monday, and from 6:30-9 a.m. Tuesday, at the Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 Tuesday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Donald Loesch officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
