HERBERT J. WEINKEIN

PERRYVILLE -- Herbert J. Weinkein, 88, died Friday, Nov. 10, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville.

He was born Oct. 30, 1907, in Perry County to Felix and Rosa Miget Weinkein.

Weinkein married Olinda V. Brown June 29, 1929. She survives.

Other survivors are six daughters, Norma Weinkein, Ruth Weinkein, June Stortz and Susan Layton, all of Perryville, Doris Hoernig of St. Louis and Virginia Hucke of Wichita, Kan.; a son, James Weinkein of Clarksville, Tenn.; a sister, Gladys Fairchild of St. Louis; a brother, Lester Weinkein of Perryville; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Weinkein was a farmer.

Friends may call at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville Sunday from 4-9 p.m. and Monday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. The rosary will be recited Saturday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home Monday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Robert Brockland. Burial will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery at Highland.
