MARBLE HILL -- Herbert Ferguson, 64, of Marquand, died Friday, April 1, 1994, at the Cape La Croix Manor in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 19, 1929, at Grisham, Mo., son of George W. and Lillie Bess Ferguson.

He was a heavy equipment operator.

Ferguson was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Air Force for six years.

He was a member of the Baptist Church of Glen Allen.

Survivors include a brother, Willard Ferguson of the state of New Jersey; and two sisters, Mabel Lombardi of Greensboro, N.C., Betzie Meyrick of Jackson.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Baker Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Burial will follow in the Old Union Cemetery in Bollinger County.
