WHITEWATER -- Herbert B. Dennis, 81, of Whitewater, died Saturday, May 18, 1991, at his home. He was born Feb. 7, 1910, in Cape Girardeau, son of Anthony and Dela Kennon Dennis. WHITEWATER -- Herbert B. Dennis, 81, of Whitewater, died Saturday, May 18, 1991, at his home.

He was born Feb. 7, 1910, in Cape Girardeau, son of Anthony and Dela Kennon Dennis.

He married Elma Barks on June 1, 1933. She survives.

He was a member of the Whitewater United Methodist and the Whitewater Masonic Lodge.

Other survivors are two sons, Donald Dennis, Burfordville and Richard Dennis, Dexter; one daughter, Diane Hahn, Marble Hill; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the McCombs Funeral Home with the Rev. Virgil Bunch officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
