PERRYVILLE -- Herbert A. Hemmann, 73, of St. Louis died Friday, April 15, 1994, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Dec. 18, 1920 in Jennings, La., son of the Rev. Oscar and Alleda Palisch Hemmann.
He was a school administrator and a veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy. He was a member of the Reformation Lutheran Church in St. Louis and served on the board of directors of Sakura Garden.
He married Doris B. Bergmann on Oct. 12, 1941. She survives of St. Louis.
Also surviving are one son, David Hemmann of Columbia; a daughter, Judy Spors of St. Louis; one brother, Earl O. Hemmann of Webster Groves; one sister, Dorothy M. Hemmann of St. Louis; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Reformation Lutheran Church.
The body will then be taken to Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, where friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Monday and from 6:30-9:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville with the Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd officiating.
