Henry D. Walter, 88 of Scott City died Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 24, 1931, in Ancell, Missouri, to Otto and Anna Sander Walter. He married Rose E. Lindeman on March 28, 1964.
He was a dump truck driver and attended the Assembly of God Church in Scott City. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery with full military honors.
