HENRY STROBEL

ADVANCE -- Henry J. Strobel, 84, of Advance died Thursday, March 12, 1998, at Crowley Ridge Nursing Center in Dexter.

He was born Dec. 28, 1913, at Swinton, son of Elmer and Bertha Mann Strobel. He and Hazel White were married Dec. 23, 1931, at Swinton.

Strobel was a retired farmer, and member of Advance United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Carl Strobel Sr. of Advance; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by a son, two grandsons, a great-granddaughter, five sisters, and two brothers.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5:30-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Brice officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
