Henry Rendleman IV, 87, of Anna, Ill., died Friday, March 28, 2003, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Ill.
He was born July 16, 1915 in Alto Pass, Ill, son of Henry and Zora Mae Rendleman. He and Helen N. Kerley were married on Dec. 21, 1939 in Jackson.
Rendleman was a veteran of World War II, a lifetime member of the Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 and a lifelong member of the Anna Masonic Lodge 520 AF & AM.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Henry "Hank" Rendleman of Paris, Tenn.; two daughters, Jennifer Hester of Vandalia, Ill. and LuAnne Rendleman of Cobden, Ill.; four sisters, Ollie Walker of Fairview Heights, Ill., Maxine Fritz of Cameron, Ill., Betty Singer of Peoria, Ill., and Jean Rudolph of Peoria, Ill.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Roy Hill officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery with full military honors given by Carroll P. Foster from VFW Post 3455.
