HENRY J. NOTHDURFT

CHAFFEE -- Henry Julius Nothdurft, 83, of Chaffee, died Thursday, July 22, 1993, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 10, 1909, at Whitewater, son of Ferdinand and Mary Elizabeth Fisher Nothdurft. He and Ida Augusta Rust were married Dec. 24, 1942.

Nothdurft was a self-employed farmer and farm equipment repairman at Whitewater. He moved here in 1986 from Scopus.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Willis Nothdurft of Loveland, Ohio; two daughters, Margaret Poinsett, Chaffee Route 1, Elsie Buttrey, Fisk Route 1, and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Revs. James Hartman and Rex Haynes will officiate, with burial in Trinity Methodist Church Cemetery near Delta.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday.
