HENRY J. COFFELT

PERRYVILLE -- Henry J. Coffelt, 80, of Perryville, died Saturday, June 19, 1993, at the American Care Center in Perryville.

He was born Oct. 23, 1912, at Silver Lake, Mo., son of Walter and Clara Henderson Coffelt.

He married Viola B. Hudson, April 18, 1935.

Coffelt was a member of the American Legion Post 133 in Perryville.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert Coffelt of Troy, Mo., William Coffelt of Arnold, Mo.; three daughters, Clara Kohfeld of St. Peters, Mo., Alma Probst of St. Peters, Mo., Shirley Pingel of Perryville; four brothers, Ralph Coffelt of Milwaukee, Wis., Walter Coffelt of New Mexico, Eugene Coffelt and Clarence Coffelt, both of Perryville; two sisters, Emma Hudson of Perryville, Genevieve Firestack of Denison, Tex.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville, with the Rev. Edward Wilson, C.M., officiating.

Burial will follow in Home Cemetery in Perryville.
