PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Henry L. Hoffman, 90, of East Moline, Ill., died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at Trinity Medical Center West Campus in Rock Island, Ill.
He was born Sept. 10, 1910, at Perryville, son of Andrew and Julia Sutterer Hoffman. He and Wiltrudis Unterreiner were married Oct. 21, 1939, in Perryville.
Hoffman was a machinist at John Deere Spreador, retiring from John Deere Foundry in 1971.
He was a member of the Rural Fire Department Board in East Moline. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and UAW Local 79.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Carolyn Fye of Altoona, Pa.; a son, Gary Hoffman of Nashua, N.H.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, a grandson, three brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Van Hoe Funeral Home in East Moline from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum.
