MCCLURE, Ill. -- Henry Everett Palmer, 54, of McClure died Saturday, June 21, 1997, in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 6, 1943, in Anna, son of Sylvester and Velma Johnson Palmer. He married Brenda Prater on Oct. 12, 1962. She survives.
He was employed at Raben Tire Co. and a was a member of the First Baptist Church in Thebes.
He is survived by his parents, a son, James Palmer of Old Appleton; a daughter, Sherry Garcia of Bellglade, Fla.; two half-sisters, Sharon Harrison of Melrose Park and Sandra Kay Sharp of Princeville; and four granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by a half-sister.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
Graveside funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery at Reynoldsville, with the Rev. Carl Fisher officiating.
