SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Henry Clifton Holland, Sikeston Route 1, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Timmy Hall will officiate, with burial in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-9 p.m. today.
Holland, 79, died Tuesday, June 7, 1994, at Sells Rest Home.
He was born Nov. 2, 1914, in Athens, Ala., son of John Clifton and Florence Smith Holland. He and Bertha Dyer were married April 26, 1931, in Athens. She died April 9, 1991.
Holland was a farmer, and a member of New Life Tabernacle at Bell City.
Survivors include five sons, Bobby Holland of Little Rock, Ark., Monroe and Eugene Holland of Vanduser, Jack and Max Holland of Poplarville, Miss.; four daughters, Lois Malone of Benton, Ark., Glenys Duckworth of Sikeston, Henrietta Hicks and Pat Daniels of Poplarville.; two sisters, Rosie Adams of Flint, Mich., Louise Adams of Orlando, Fla.; 42 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sons, three daughters, two brothers, a sister, a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
