HENRY C. HEURING

SCOTT CITY -- Henry Clarence Heuring, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Jan. 22, 1912, at New Hamburg to Bernard and Regina Glueck Heuring.

He married Bertha Alma Peetz Feb. 18, 1936 at Fornfelt. She died July 8, 1980.

He was a pipefitter for 41 years and retired from Lone Star Cement Co. in Cape Girardeau in 1976.

Survivors include three sons, Henry Heuring Jr. of Benton, Larry Heuring of Scott City and Jerry Heuring of Kelso; one daughter, Lavada Schlegel of Kelso; two brothers, William Heuring of Scott City and Albert Heuring of Pineola, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.

Visitation is today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home. Service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
