Henrietta Medlin

Henrietta Minnie Medlin, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, June 11, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 26, 1926, at Dutchtown, Mo., daughter of Henry and Clara Kirn Schwepker. She and Orville Medlin were married Dec. 27, 1947 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He passed away Nov. 23, 1997.

She was employed by Southwestern Bell as an operator for 20 years. She also worked at Saint Francis Medical Center and Southeast Missouri Hospital. Medlin was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Marietta Reinagel of Kelso, Mo., Myra Reisenbichler of Jackson; a son, Darrell Medlin of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Edna Scheeter of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren, Amy Reinagel of Kelso, Lance Reinagel of St. Louis, Grant Medlin, Meridith Medlin, both of Cape Girardeau, Ryan Medlin, Leah Reisenbichler, Emily Reisenbichler, Nathan Reisenbichler, all of Jackson; three great-grandchildren, Samantha Medlin, Dylan Hayman, both of Jackson, Ashlyn McIntosh of Kelso.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home on Monday, June 13, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Monday night.

Service will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Derek Swanson officiating.

Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
