Helena Paulina Cracraft, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004, at Kindred Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born July 3, 1915, at Tilsit, daughter of Louis Christian and Minnie Matilda Wedekind Burgfeld. She and John W. Cracraft were married Feb. 9, 1943, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death.
Cracraft had worked at a shoe factory in Chaffee, Mo., and as a cook at St. Vincent's Seminary. She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Gilbert Cracraft of Cape Girar-deau.
She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter and two brothers.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Heckman officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
