HELEN ZOELLNER

PERRYVILLE -- Helen M. Zoellner, 77, of Perryville died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born June 23, 1921, in Perry County, daughter of Adrain and Janie LaRose Keller. She and Floyd A. Zoellner were married June26, 1939. He died July 23, 1983.

Zoellner had been a nurse aide at Perry Oaks. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Highland.

Survivors include seven sons, Gilbert, Floyd Jr., Albert, Joseph, Sylvester and Merlin Zoellner, all of Perryville, Ronald Zoellner of Maryland Heights; three daughters, Shirley Abel of Dittmer, Mary Dodd and Alberta Winschel of Perryville.

Also surviving are four sisters, Mary Hargrove of Cahokia, Ill., Mary Vitalie of Florissant, Lyndola Storie of Goose Creek, Dorothy Brooks of St. Louis; a brother, Leroy Keller of Perryville; 38 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30-9:20 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church in Highland, with the Rev. Robert Brockland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
