COBDEN, Ill. -- Helen Marie Musgrave Ziepfel, 76, of Hamilton, Ohio, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998, at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton. She was born July 12, 1922, in Elkhorn, W.Va., daughter of Paul and Marie Servay. She first married Robert Fritze in 1940, who died Dec. 29, 1966. She later married Robert Fritze in 1970, who died May 2, 1985. She and Leo Ziepfel were married April 9, 1991, in Hamilton...

COBDEN, Ill. -- Helen Marie Musgrave Ziepfel, 76, of Hamilton, Ohio, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998, at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton.

She was born July 12, 1922, in Elkhorn, W.Va., daughter of Paul and Marie Servay. She first married Robert Fritze in 1940, who died Dec. 29, 1966. She later married Robert Fritze in 1970, who died May 2, 1985. She and Leo Ziepfel were married April 9, 1991, in Hamilton.

Ziepfel had been a nurse at Choate Mental Health Center in Anna. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Helen Long of Alton; Mary Fox of Cobden, Sue Johnson of St. Louis, Teresa Major of Clarksville, Tenn.; three sons, Richard Musgrave of Marion, Bill Musgrave of Alto Pass, Robert Musgrave of Johnston City; two sisters, Bobbie Bland of Hobart, Ind., Eleanor Walker of Gary, Ind.; 22 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two infant sons and two brothers.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 6 p.m. today.

The rosary will be recited at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. Tom Miller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
