ARBOR, Mo. -- The funeral for Helen M. Welker of Fenton, Mo., will be held at 1 p.m. today at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Arnold, Mo. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at Cedar Hill, Mo.
Chapel Hill Mortuary at Cedar Hill is in charge of arrangements.
Welker, 67, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2002, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.
She was born April 21, 1935, at Arbor, daughter of Perl and Stella Long Cook. She and Clyde O. Welker were married Feb. 19, 1954, at Marble Hill, Mo. He preceded her in death.
Welker was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Janet McClarney, Debbie Sanderbeck and Lesa Miers, all of Fenton; three sons, Mark and Bill Welker of Fenton, Todd Welker of Arnold; two sisters, Shirley Fulbright of Marble Hill, Dean Roark of Glenallen, Mo.; a brother, Don Cook of Marble Hill; and 14 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
