MORLEY -- Helen Loretta Vallance, 73, of Pocahontas, Ark., died Tuesday, June 20, 1995, at Randolph County Medical Center in Pocahontas. She has lived in Pocahontas Convalescent Center for the past two years.
She was born June 24, 1921, in Morley, daughter of John Robert Brackston and Minnie Stanley Nations. She lived her entire life in Peach Orchard, Ark. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Knobel, Ark.
Survivors are two sons, Charles Ray Vallance and Paul David Vallance, both of Pocahontas, Ark.; a stepson, Gary Vallance of Rockford, Ark.; three stepdaughters, Anita Bell Turner and Wanda Davis of Peach Orchard and Glenda Rutledge of Rockford, Ill.; two sisters, Ruth Carol of Chaffee and Sherma Boshears of Oran; five grandchildren; and 13 stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning, Ark.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Pentecostal Church, Knobel. Burial will be in Pirtle Cemetery at Knobel.
