EVANSTON, Ill. -- Helen V. Van Husen, 78, of Evanston died Wednesday, July 3, 1996, at Columbus Hospital in Chicago.
She was born Dec. 5, 1917, at Fisk.
She and Frank Luther Van Husen were married on June 25, 1937.
Van Husen was a homemaker and resident of Evanston for the past five years. She had lived several years in Michigan. In 1975 she moved back to Fisk where she attended the First General Baptist Church. In 1978 she moved to Cape Girardeau where she lived until moving to Evanston. While living in Cape Girardeau, she was a member of the First General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Frank L. Van Husen Jr. of Chicago, and a sister, Edith Hubbs of Spring Hill, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Friends may call at 6 p.m. Monday at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will be in Shain Memorial Cemetery in Fisk.
