HELEN SWARTS

AQUILLA -- Helen Imogene Swarts, 73, of Aquilla died Friday, Feb. 21, 1997, at Bloomfield Nursing Center in Bloomfield.

She was born June 25, 1923, in Palmyra, daughter of Edward and Ida Stokes Holmes. She and Arthur E. Swarts were married Nov. 13, 1983, near Bloomfield.

Swarts retired as a machine operator from Bussman Fuse Co. in St. Louis. She moved to Aquilla in 1983 from St. Louis. She was a member of Gravel Hill Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by her husband.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cotus James officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
