PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Helen L. Pierce of Perryville will be held at 2 p.m. today at Miller Family Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tom Bass officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery at Scott City.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until service time.

Pierce, 88, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 1997, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born July 5, 1909, at Scott City, daughter of B.F. and Stella Rundy Pierce.

Pierce retired as an agent with State Farm Insurance Co. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a sister, Alma Pierce of Perryville.
