Helen Aline McCallister, 93, of Jackson died Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at Monticello House.
She was born Oct. 6, 1913, in Queen City, Mo., daughter of John Clemens and Minnie Pearl Dufur Miller. She married Roy Glenn McCallister, who died May 21, 1969.
Mrs. McCallister had been manager at Uncle Dudley's and later G&G Furniture in Jackson for 17 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson, and its Sanctuary and Joy choirs and WMU.
Helen is survived by a son, Glenn Miller McCallister of Jackson; a son-in-law, Eugene "Jake" Drum of Jackson; six grandchildren, Sara, Lori and Robyn McCallister, Stephanie Skelton, Jeff Drum and LeAndrea Drum-Solorzano.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, LaCretia Drum; and two daughters-in-law, Peggy Deneke McCallister and Crystal Homan McCallister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Carter Frey officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery near Oak Ridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Goshen Cemetery Fund.
