CHARLESTON -- Helen Mae Cogdill, 77, of Charleston, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Jan. 14, 1921, in Charleston, daughter of John Henry and Bessie Mae Cook Stallings.
She married James L. Cogdill on July 21, 1945. He died Nov. 8, 1991.
She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Oline H. Cogdill of Wilton Manor, Fla., and a brother, John Henry Stallings, of Benton.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, with the Rev. Mike Swalina officiating. Burial will be at I.O.O.F Cemetery near Charleston.
Friends may call today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
