JACKSON -- Helen Marie Hanners, 82, of Jackson, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1992, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 5, 1910, at Scopus, daughter of Earl Lee and Effie Mae Shoemaker Hahn. She and Joseph Hanners were married Aug. 8, 1927, at Marble Hill. He died Nov. 3, 1972.
Hanners was a member of Eastside Homemakers Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Mabel Skinner and JoAnn McDowell of Jackson; a brother, Howard Hahn of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Lottie Hanners of Jackson, Lena Brotherton of Fredericktown; three grandsons and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Otto Steinhaus officiating. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery at Scopus.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
