SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Funeral service for Helen M. Eaker of Sedgewickville will be held at 1 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel in Patton. The Revs. Luther Rhodes and Clark Sitze will officiate, with burial in Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to service time.
Eaker, 84, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 10, 1909, in St. Louis, daughter of James and Ida Mae Hickey Healy. She and Hobert E. Eaker were married Feb. 25, 1928. He died Sept. 26, 1986.
Eaker was a member of Union Light United Methodist Church at Marquand, but attended Patton United Methodist Church. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star at Zalma.
Survivors include three sons, Richard Eaker of Hixson, Tenn., Bob Eaker of Columbia, Ill., James Eaker of Augusta, Ark.; three daughters, Joyce Ann Yamnitz of Sedgewickville, Carolyn Elam of Bismarck, Dorothy Matthews of Marquand; a brother, John Healy of Marble Hill; a sister, Catherine Graham of Jennings; 20 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two sisters, and three great-grandchildren.
