HELEN M. ALLEN

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Helen Marie Allen of East Prairie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Johnny Newton will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Allen, 41, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 14, 1951, at Caruthersville, daughter of John Howard and Wanda Faye Churchill Corbin. She and Terry Douglas Allen were married Aug. 14, 1983.

Allen had lived in Malden since 1978, moving to East Prairie last May.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Tammy York of East Prairie; a stepdaughter, Kristine Des Pres of Springfield; three brothers, Stephen and Dennis Corbin of of Lambert, Miss., John Corbin Jr. of Starksville, Miss.; six sisters, Belinda Lee of Dudley, Teresa Henson of Bloomfield, Carolyn Pullium of Dexter, Phyliss Howard of Memphis, Tenn., Michelle Corbin of Lambert, and Janice Corbin of Houston, Texas.
