JACKSON, Mo. -- Helen Lucille Loos, 82, of Baxter, Tenn., formerly of Jackson, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2002, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, Tenn. Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral Home. The Rev. David Schaffner will officiate. Interment will be in St. John's United Church of Christ Cemetery near Fruitland, Mo...

JACKSON, Mo. -- Helen Lucille Loos, 82, of Baxter, Tenn., formerly of Jackson, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2002, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, Tenn.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral Home. The Rev. David Schaffner will officiate. Interment will be in St. John's United Church of Christ Cemetery near Fruitland, Mo.

Mrs. Loos was born Feb. 10, 1920. She and Nelson A. Loos were united in marriage Feb. 9, 1946. He passed away Sept. 29, 1981.

Loving survivors include a niece, Scarlett Dawn Heise of Baxter, whom Mr. and Mrs. Loos cared for from a very early age; three brothers, Wendell Crites of Lakeview, Ark., Kelly Crites of Jackson, Roger Crites of Sedgewickville, Mo.; a sister, Wanda Akers of St. Louis; three nephews; two additional nieces; and a great-nephew.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beatrice.

Mrs. Loos was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and former member of the Ladies Fellowship. She attended Baxter United Methodist Church in Baxter.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. John's United Church of Christ.
