Helen Marie Leimbach, 90, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Feb. 24, 1925, in Pocahontas to Walter W. and Della Winter Leimbach.
She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas and was a 1943 graduate of Jackson High School.
In 1954 she moved to University City, Missouri. Most of her career was spent as a secretary for Alcoa, retiring in 1985. In 2000 she moved back to Cape Girardeau County.
Loving survivors include a niece, Cynthia (Thomas) Hitchcock of Fulton, Missouri; a nephew, Dale Leimbach of Pocahontas; a niece-in-law, Susan (the late Steven) Leimbach of Jackson; five great-nephews, Grady Leimbach and T.J., Eric, Kaleb and Warren Hitchcock; and a great-niece, Jessie (William) Myers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Norman Leimbach.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Virgil Kelm officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas or Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.
