MATTHEWS -- Funeral service for Helen Lee Ida Osteen of Matthews will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. Byron Edwards will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel at Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.

Osteen, 80, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born April 1, 1912, in Allenville, daughter of Henry and Iva Mobley Pobst. She and Clyde A. Osteen were married Sept. 21, 1935, at Sikeston. He died Aug. 16, 1987.

Osteen was a member of St. Francis Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Bledsoe of Matthews; two brothers, John and Floyd Pobst of Vanduser; two sisters, Imogene Graviett of Vanduser, Mamie Rodgers of Flint, Mich.; two granddaughters, and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
