PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Helen E. Koetting, 67, of Perryville died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at Perry Oaks Manor. She was born March 23, 1936, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Earl and Opal Withers Leslie. She and Hubert C. Koetting were married June 8, 1968. He died Dec. 22, 2002...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Helen E. Koetting, 67, of Perryville died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at Perry Oaks Manor.

She was born March 23, 1936, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Earl and Opal Withers Leslie. She and Hubert C. Koetting were married June 8, 1968. He died Dec. 22, 2002.

Koetting was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include two stepdaughters, Deborah Denton of Maryland Heights, Mo., Denice Hiser of Newburgh, Ind.; two stepsons, Dean Koetting of Lubbock, Texas, Douglas Koetting of Evansville, Ind.; and two stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30 to 10 a.m. A wake will be held at 7 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
