SIKESTON, Mo. -- Helen C. Kiser, 81, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born July 9, 1919, in Bloomfield, Mo., daughter of James Melvin and Mollie Walker Skelton. She and O.L. Kiser were married Aug. 19, 1944, in Pasco, Wash. He died Nov. 13, 1999.
Kiser was a housewife and a longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Orman Kiser of Cape Girardeau; a brother, James Earl Skelton of Bloomfield; and a sister, Amanda Smith of Dexter, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel. The Rev. Mike Quillman will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
