MOUNDS, Ill. -- Funeral service for Mrs. Helen J. Taylor of Mounds, Ill. will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Crane Funeral Home in Mounds.
The Revs. Jerry Herring and Jesse Bellamy will officiate. Burial will be at the Mound City National Cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor died Saturday at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was 62.
She was born Aug. 27, 1928 at Mound City, Ill., the daughter of Charles and Edith Whitehead Insco.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mounds, the Egyptian Country Club, the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and former co-owner of the Taylor Lumber Company.
Survivors include her husband, Leslie M. "Neil" Taylor; two daughters, Leslie Ann Bridewell of Green River, Wyo. and Terri Lea Marler of Mounds; a sister, Louise Roe of Toledo, Ohio; a brother, Bobby Insco of St. Louis; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Crane Funeral Home from 1-4 p.m. today and at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
