Helen B. Haag, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at the Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born April 23, 1909, at Rochester, N.Y., daughter of George and Mary Edna Carter Budd. She and Herman M. Haag were married July 8, 1933, at St. Louis. He preceded her in death June 7, 1970.
She was a homemaker and graduate of Cornell University. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.
Survivors include two sons, Herman Martin Hagg of Dallas, Texas, and Stefan David Haag of Austin, Texas; one daughter, Mary Kathryn Dillard of Grand Rivers, Ky.; three brothers, Dr. George Budd of Pittsburgh, Kan., and John Edward Budd of Oswego, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, Richard Haag, Andrew Haag, Matthew Haag, Jeffrey Haag, Joel Haag, Greg Cooke and Krista Cooke.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, William Arthur Budd.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Scott Sunnenberg officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery at Carbondale, Ill.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Cathedral.
