Helen Gilbert, 91, embarked on her epic and well-earned adventure to heaven Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021.

Dear "Aunt Helen" will be greatly missed for her love of family and feisty spirit. She loved sports and enjoyed her friends and nursing team at Chateau Girardeau.

In keeping with her wishes and quiet nature, all services will be for immediate family only.

Those wishing to honor her life by sending flowers or final written respects should send them to Ford and Sons Funeral Home Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.
