ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Mrs. Helen File, 79, of Anna, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Crain Funeral Chapel in Anna. The Rev. Verlee Eaker will officiate, with burial in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Friday.

File died Tuesday, April 30, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 8, 1911, in Union County, daughter of Napoleon and Fannie Humes Jones. She married E.W. "Ed" File Oct. 25, 1931. He died Sept. 14, 1986.

File was a member of First Baptist Church in Anna, Anna OES Chapter 522, Carroll P. Foster VFW Auxiliary, and Union County Home Extension Club.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.
